TOTAL TIME: 30 mins

Ingredients:

Dry Ingredients:
2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
2 tsp Baking powder
1 tsp Baking soda
1 tbsp Sugar
1 tsp Salt

Wet Ingredients:
4 tbsp Butter, melted
1 cup Sourdough Discard

Walnuts, chocolate chips, and Whipped cream

Directions:

  1. Add all the dry ingredients into a bowl and mix together.

  1. Add all wet ingredients to the dry ingredients and whisk together thoroughly.

  1. Once the batter is made add crushed walnuts; the size that you crush them is totally a matter of preference.

  1. Using a ladle, pour batter onto a hot griddle and make pancakes that are 5-6 inches in diameter.

  1. As soon as you pour the batter for each pancake, drop 8-12 chocolate chips into the cooking batter.

  1. Cook until bubbles form in the batter, and then flip and cook for an additional minute or two.

  1. Pile pancakes up in a stack, top them with more crushed walnuts and chocolate chips, then finish with whipped cream.

Just like that, you have a gorgeous plate of mouthwatering pancakes covered in walnuts, chocolate chips, and whipped cream—breakfast is served!
